Happy Thursday all!!! Its almost the weekend again! I cant wait it has been so nice here this week ..I love those warm days but not to hot ones :) I did have a chance to get into some crafting this week and I wanted to enter a few more challenges. I want so badly to get into my scrapbooking but I'm having a scrapbooking block..And I really want to get into making a few memory books but again another block so I will go with what I can make right now and that seems to be cards...cards..cards... Not complaining just wishing I could get into a few more projects :) Well for now I will just show you what I have created so far...

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

I am also Using this card in the Getting Cricky Design Team Call

For the base card I used an embossed piece of yellow cardstock..
The Green is just a simple piece of mint cardstock that I punched the corners out with my scallop corner chomper.
The patterned piece is from the DCWV Carnival Stack
The pink is from my scraps ...I edged with with a Martha Stewart punch set..
I cut a caramel apple out on my cricut (I do believe it was sweet treats)
Then i punched a circle and stamped it with K Andrew Designs Set Even More Food For Thought
Then for a little added extra decoration I added 3 red gems and a piece of orange twine.

Hello All!!!

Hello All! I'm back from my "mini vacation" actually I went away to visit my cousin and to babysit her two boys while she worked third shift so she could get a little sleep. I was EXHAUSTED by the end of it though but had a blast with them... :) We took them to the Farmers Market, The park, the petting zoo (i was extremely disgusted by this part) , then for ice cream and shopping so all in all it was a blast... But as far as the petting zoo.. This one made me so sad that I could barely walk through it without wanting to bust them all out of their cages. It breaks my heart to see animals in such horrible conditions.. Animals that should be living their lives grazing and having a great time... were living on pavement and had very little shade... No worries though my friends... I have written a letter to the Humane Society about this place and I am hoping that there is a light at the end of the tunnel for these beautiful animals <3

Ok sorry to ramble on but I do have a project for you today :)

Over at Die Cuttin Divas there is a sketch challenge and I decided to take that and run with it :)

My recipe for this card:
The card base is from : Recollections Spring Collection
The flowers are Recollections flowers the ones that come in those adorable bottles (on clearance at M's for 2.00!!! WOOHOOO!!!!)
The Lollipop paper is from: DCWV The Carnival Stack
The lollipop is cut from Doodle charms @ 4.5 with a cute little Peachy Keen Face using PK-490
The sentiment is from K Andrew Designs new set "Southern Sayings"
I also added a little twine from Doodle twine  in purple around the lollipop stem :)

A Late Happy Mothers Day!

Hello All!! Hope everyone had a beautiful Mothers Day!
I had hopes of posting a card for each day this weekend but I got caught up in planting my flowers since it was soo beautiful outside and WOW am I glad I did it this weekend because this week here we are looking at alllll rain Yuck! But I guess that makes for more craft room time! :)

I wanted to post a card that I made this weekend for my mom to give to my grandmother on Mothers Day.

This card I made with a damask print paper layered with plain black paper to make it pop
The flowers I made with a paper doily that I had left over from Valentines Day and I just used my 1"
Hole punch and cut a small strip of green paper for the stem.
The Framed sentiment I cut using the cricut then added a white piece of cardstock on top of it with a little
Tim Holtz ink around the edge of the paper.

Mother's Day

Well Happy Friday everyone! Since Sunday is Mother's Day I wanted to post a card that I made for my mom. I still have a few to make but this one I am super happy with the layout and colors so I wanted to post this one today and I will post one for tomorrow and one for Sunday also :)

I am entering this card into the Mothers Day Challenge at Celebrate the Occasion
and

 Theme is Mothers Day

For today's card I wanted to make something super cheery and happy
For this card I used a plain purple background
then with patterned papers i used pieces from my scrap box.
I just used simple pink ribbon for the bow and the
butterfly cuts came from the Cricut Cartridge "April Showers"
I dont remember where the scalloped circle came from because I had it cut out
from a previous cut. But I did take my hole punch around the scallops to make it look a little different.
Then I stamped the white circle with Happy Mother's Day and I used the sentiments from K Andrew Designs

I hope you enjoyed my card! <3 Until Tomorrow! :)

WIggle Worm

Happy Monday All!! Hope everyone had a fun Scrapbooking/Card Making weekend!! :)
I know I did!!

Getting Cricky's website a while ago about making your own wobbles. I really wanted to see how easy it was to make and I just love how it turned out :) Hope you enjoy

So for this card I used a pre-made card base from DCWV
Then I topped it with a piece of scrap paper I had in my stash
I added some flowers that are Prima Flowers the Botanical mix
then I added a few gold brads to the center of each of them
For the worm I used a cut from April Showers
Then for the sentiment I used my 1" circle punch to cut out 2 circles and stamped them
with K Andrew Design sets: Coffee & Tea TREATS tag alongs and Summertime Splash
