Orange, Black, Yellow

Happy Friday All!! Over at Simply Create Too we have a challenge going on .. all you need to do is use Black Orange and Yellow :) Stop over and show us what you have created! We love seeing what everyone creates each and every week!

So Onto my project...

I know the colors are more of a Halloween color scheme but I wanted to try add a twist on it :)

So for this card I wanted to make it simple.
I used a premade card stock in yellow
Then I piece of fall leaf patterned paper that I rec'd in a paper swap
Then I used a corner chomper and cut the corners of the white card stock
Stamped it with the tree and added the sentiment that is from K Andrew Designs
I also added some Tim Holtz distressing ink to it and some liquid pearl.

Spooky Treat!!

Happy Tuesday All!! So for my DT Post over at Getting Cricky we are going with a Halloween theme.
This will be my last post on the Getting Cricky site since Kristal has decided to close her doors to her stamp line and allow herself more time with her teaching and her two young boys. I wish her all the best that life has to offer and I thank her for the great opportunity that I have had to grow with paper crafting and I met some very AWESOME ladies throughout my terms with her!

I will also be entering my project into the following challenges:

Cute Card Thursday- Use Glitter (my haunted out windows, and on my bears costume)
Pause Dream Enjoy - Night Project

So for this project I used the Teddy Bear Parade Cart and cut him out at 3"
I glittered up his leaves, stem and treat bag. I also Glittered up the shutters on the haunted house windows :)
The paper is from : DCWV The Midnight Spell Matstack
Then i distressed the edges of the white cardstock to give it a little extra spooky touch and
I stamped it with K Andrew Designs Fall-O-Ween set

Halloween Nail Polish

Happy Tuesday all!!! The week is almost halfway over and I have been working hard on getting some gifts created for Halloween for the office. Since I am a HUGE fan of doing my own nails I decided to do a themed project for nails :)

I will be entering this project in
Party Time Tuesdays - PTT #89 Anything But a Card

So for this I got the dimensions for a 1 nail polish holder off of Pinterest (yes i know i'm so addicted to pinterest lol)
And then I just adjusted it for my double colors.
I Then Inked the edges with a little black and stamped it with my K Andrew Designs Set Fall-O-Ween
I added some black and orange twine to it to top it of and it was super simple and I think it super cute :)

If you happen to have a few minutes... stop on over at Getting Cricky and get to know the new DT ... Each person will be posting a new project each day of the week and showcasing some projects featuring her stamps and some will even be retiring soon so if you want some of the older ones get them while you can :) They are great to work with!!

For this card I used yet again just some simple papers (cream and olive)
For the Leaves I used some tim holtz inks and dyed my paper and then stamped it with a leaf (the stamp i got from the 1$ bin at Michaels)
The Ribbon was in a package of ribbons (not sure of brand or maker)
The Skittles are some of the ones that I hand dyed  in an orange color
The Sentiment is from K Andrew Designs - Fall-O-Ween

Getting Cricky Blog Hop!!- Favorite Things

Welcome to the Getting Cricky "Favorite Things" Blog Hop
Each of us on the Design Team, along with some very special guests and friends, are so pleased to have you here with us!!  We have a special surprise for you at the end of the hop, so be sure to visit each blog along the way...  You'll end up at Kristal's blog where you'll get to JOIN the FUN!!  So let's get HOPPING to show you some of our "Favorite Things" about Kristal's stamps!!
If you've hopped along from Heather then you are in the right place!! If you are just joining me from your dashboard, or reading this via email, please be sure to CLICK HERE to start at the beginning with Lisa's blog (you'll want to catch up on all the FUN!!)...

This card was made from all my scraps in my scrap drawer :) Even the ribbon !
I did cut the fall leaf out with my cricut an outline cut and then I just added some pretty green glitter to it.
The "skittles" on my card were hand dyed by me.
I ran the circles through my cuttlebug with an embossing folder to give it a bit more texture.
The Sentiment is from the Fall-O-Ween set which I love not only because Fall is my favorite time of year but because you can mix and match and create so many different things with this set! If you don't have it yet it is one to add to your collection I promise you will love it ! :)

Each of Kristal's stamp sets benefit charity. At least $1 per stamp set goes to benefit the charity noted on the stamp set package. Kristal is donating to the following charities: Cancer Angels, Storefront Shelter for Homeless Children, Intrepid & Fallen Heroes, E. Glaser Pediatric AIDS  Foundation, Doorways Shelter for Women & Children (Domestic Violence), Wayside House for Women, Camp Good Days & Special Times, and Autism Research Institute. Kristal will donate $1 for every stamp set sold, retail or wholesale to the charity noted; and over time believes this will add up to some wonderful miracles for these special people. So you can feel good that each time you purchase a K Andrew Designs art stamp set, someone around the country is receiving some good help! MidWeek Post Simply Create Too

Hello All!! Happy Friday! Its been a great week here well.. a little cold lol but all in all a great week! I went to a Taste Of Home Cooking show lastnight and got to see them cook some yummy things that I cant wait to try!!! Also Today is my dads birthday and I will be taking him out for dinner tonight :) I admit it I'm a daddy's girl lol! Well onto my projects :)

I wanted to make some simple cards for this post because Simple cards are fun to make too
So for the first card I just used plain pink cardstock for the bg and then white embossed paper for the top layer. Then I used The ribbon along the bottom to give it a pop of color. The bow came on the ribbon which I think gave it a great extra touch.

The second card I used cream colored cardstock and its a mini card  :) I also used a tag punch for the inside tag . The pocket and all of the sentiments are from Pink By Design stamps.
