Well its day 3 of Getting Cricky Pre Hop projects!!! I'm excited its been so fun!!

Well first onto my project...

For this project I used a simple red cardstock for the card, then cut

some white squared and placed them on the top. I got these cute 3d stickers at Michaels and wanted to do almost like a collage of cuteness so i put one in each square... The sentiments are from K Andrew's "Food For Though" set Which I am tottaly in love with right now!! Its proving to work perfectly for Valentines Day Cards :)

Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge!!!

Yes its that time again!! Simply Sunday Challenge-Let it Snow / Use Embossing .
I Am also entering this into Jelly Park Challenges - Anything with a pocket 

For this project I got the card idea from Split Coast Stampers which I really enjoy making these cards now! Thanks to whomever came up with that one! :)
Anyways So for the paper I used a piece of BoBunny double sided paper which I fell in love with when I went to this small scrapbook store here <3
Then I Embossed what I like to think is my snowmans snowflack backing.. I embossed it with the swirly pattern, then also heat embossed it with the glittery silver.. Then I put this cute little snowman on top of it.. wrapped some ribbon around the card...
For the Tag insert I just cut a simple shape out and Stamped it with the sentiments from K Andrew Designs stamp set "Winter Wishes"

Pre-Hop Day 1!!!

Well Good Morning Everyone!! I hope your weekend is going great!!
As you may or may not know ... Over at Getting Cricky this week there is a TON of stuff going on!! :) Today you at Noon EST you will see our Simply Sunday Challenge project going on... This morning you will see that the DT Team is starting our week of previews for Kristal's Stamps all leading up to our Blog Hop on Friday!!!! So this week is going to be jam packed full of goodness!!! And be sure to check back here every day this week because I will be giving some blog candy away on one of the preview days but you wont know which day it is until you check back here :)

So for my Day One Pre Hop project :
I will be featuring K Andrew's Stamp set "Food For Thought" this week

For this project I used a simple glittery piece for my bg,

Then I did the mosiac tile from a piece of cupcake paper from DCWV

For that all you do is take and rip your paper into pieces and use your distress ink along the tears and use Mod Podge to layer it until you have your mosiac.

Then I used a Recollections flower and heart brad and tied a ribbon a round the mosiac :)

For the sentiment I used Food For Thought from K Andrew Designs.

These stamps are so versatile that you can get a whole lot of sayings from just one set of her stamps.

Faux Leather Wallet

Good Morning All!!! Hope the weekend is treating you good!
For today's project I am going to show you my version of a wallet that I saw lastnight while browsing through ideas over at Splitcoaststampers.com...
I dont have the cuttlebug So i couldnt make the full size one but with a little tweaking and some self motivation I came up with this smaller version of it. Its the first one I have made but I will be making more because they will make awesome gift card holders!!

I started out with a tan piece of card stock and embossed it with the mosiac tile embossing folder..
Then I used some Tim Holtz Destressed ink "Vintage Photo" and after that was try i rubbed my martha stewart embossing stamp pad over it and used the crystal embossing powder  to make it shiny like leather.
Then I made a little tag with my KAndrews stamp set "Fashionable Friends" For my tag after I stampped it I used some Clear Glossy accent on top of it to make it almost like a charm.. Then I added some funky purple Zebra print ribbon that I got at Michaels for a dollar! and a brad to close it and there we have it! :)
I will deffinitly be making more of these they are so fun and easy to make and im going to venture into different colors and patterns i think :)

A Few Layouts :)

Happy friday everyone!! I just stopped in to show you a few layouts I made .. I am trying to get a scrapbook together for my niece and nephew so there is a place where they can look at all of their pictures...

First Is one of my niece when she was a tiny tiny thing...

For this I used paper from the DCWV paper pack then I added some bling to the corner of the sleepy picture with a stamp that says "Sweet Dreams" (The stamps I used are from the K Andrews stamp set Winged Things)

Then I just added a few flowers from the Recollections set and added some liquid pearl in the center for a little extra touch :)

For the next layout..I used pictures that were taken this fall of my niece. She loved playing outside and I wanted a little layout to make since she looked so cute!

For this one I used the Stamp Set from K Andrew Designs "Fall-O-Ween"

The paper I dont remember where it came from but I do belive its DCWV

Then I found cute fall stickers at AcMoore and thought they added a cute little touch do the LO...

Better Late than Never :)

Hello All... I hope everyone's Christmas was a wonderful one full of family and friends! I know i've been MIA for a few weeks but I just wanted to post a project that I made for a gift that was given out on Christmas... And i've been anxoius to get back to crafting because I got myself the Cricut Expression this week and I know that there are a lot more projects that I can do on it versus my little Cricut machine :) That and I am now a proud owner of a Gypsy !! Yay!!! I've been taking it to work with me and working on things at work here and there too haha!! Now onto my little project!!

For this project my SIL and Brother needed a gift card holder to give to my other Brother and didnt realize that they needed on until Christmas Eve... So Luckily I have a wonderful set of Stamps that I got from K Andrew Designs  and some very cute paper I quickly got the situation under control :)

For this I used some red snowflake paper as the envelope part;

Then I cut a circle using my Martha Stewart circle cutter

In the center I used a cute little penguin sticker that I found at Michaels (i couldnt resist them they were so cute in the package it was like they were calling my name to buy them), For the sentiment I used the "Winter Wishes" stamp set from K Andrew Designs

Then i used some Tim Holtz green ink around the edges to give it a little color since it was just white. Then I tied a piece of ribbon around it and there it is :)

If you havent checked out her stamp sets yet, you should really think about it because they stamp so nicely , clean nicely and the stamp sets are all mix and match and there are so many great sets that once you get one...you cant get enough of them! Plus Kristal donates a portion of each stamp set sale to a charity. Each stamp set goes to a different charity! How great is that?!

Simply Sunday Challenge - Joys Of The Season

Well todays post is being created for the Simply Sunday Challenge at Getting Cricky .
The Theme for this week is Joys of the Season - A holiday decoration. So for this weeks post I created a snowman out of ivy bowls and votive holders. Along with some other neat things :)

 I am now using this little guy as the centerpiece on my table! He is so adorable and welcoming to people!  For his little sign I used the wonderful K Andrews stamp set "Winter Wishes"  I have to admit these stamps are good for ANY project you can think of!
