A few little things

Sorry I know its been a while since I posted a project but with the baby shower planning and stuff its been very hectic! It's now over so I can get back to making some more projects to post :) !
This project is one that I absolutely love to do! Its a hand dipped scented wax dipped bear. I love to make these since you can take a simple bear and for one make it smell to good then you have the option to fluff it up as much as you want. In back of the bear is another little project I was making to give as gifts at christmas time. Its just a small little glass bowl that I got at AC Moore (my favorite craft store ever) and I put floral foam in the center of it with hot glue and stuffed peppermint candies around it until it was full and completely hid the floral foam. Then I took some christmas floral picks and placed in the top to make an arrangement and wove in the 20 count lights and put a ribbon around the rim of the bowl and it makes a wonderful little christmas light.

I made this birthday card for one of my friend's daughters and she really loved it! I used just a simple background and cut a cake out with the #'s 1 and 0 and used the 0 to make a shaker with her name in the center. I made it really so she could have a double use for it since I got her a bracelet making kit and inside the 0 there are beads that she could use for her bracelets if she wanted.

I will post more cards in the next few days. Its a rainy day here and it seems like the perfect day to just kick back and make some projects. Enjoy and have a wonderful afternoon everyone!

Another Simple card from here..
I just cut a simple lady bug out and then added some ribbon and a glittery brad. I really like the way this card came out. Kinda reminds me of watermelon colors :)
Until Later! Enjoy <3

Rubber Ducky

I decided to make a baby card to see how it would turn out.. I think it turned out ok :)  I used a blue saphire brad for the eye on the ducky and a pop dot to make him stand out a little from the card.

Baby Shower Decorations

My little brother's girlfriend is having a baby and I made almost everything for the shower... decorations.. favors...gifts...So I am posting pics for all to see :)
This is a close up of the diaper baby that I made. He was super easy and didnt take long at all. I love making these little babies they are super fun !
This is of his whole body. Isnt he adorable?!

This is one of many flower arrangements that I made to decorate around tables. I made the flowers out of crepe party streamers, leaves, floral tape and floral picks. I arranged them in an ivy bowl with blue basket filler inside and added a Tulle bow to make it pop :)

This diaper cake i made in about 2 hours I put the layers together using baby lotion and baby wash as the cores to make them stable then added fabric around it to give it a pop of color. I made tulle pom poms around the tops of the layers to make it fluffy then added an adorable monkey to the top which is a Ty Beanie Boo. Closeup is below. I loved this monkey so much I bought one for myself haha!
He looks a little bashful doesnt he?

I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did creating all of it. I will post more pics of other decorations and things as I go through them to see what all i have done. Til Next time!

Freedom Isn't Free

I am entering this card  into Getting Cricky's Simply Sunday Challenge - Freedom Isn't Free.
The background paper I used I got from Ac Moore in their single paper section. I cut the stars and the words out using the "Stand and Salute" cartridge. The stamps are K Andrew Designs Stamps
Thank You to Kathy who allowed me to use her stamps to try them out! And I LOVE THEM! They stamp so easily and nicely and they clean so much easier than others :) I know I will be buying some soon!

This week I seem to be going with simple.
I loved the paper and wanted to make a card with it and this sorta just jumped into my head and i put it down on paper. Again.. and nothing spectacular but I enjoyed making it :)
Also This one will also be going to Operation Write Home.

A simple Thank You

I made just a simple thank you card using blues and silvers. I
just used some stick on stars, blue paper and used the cricut to cut out the word "thanks"
Nothing over the top but I like it :)
This card will be going to Operation Write Home as soon as I get a few more cards made.

Light Bulb Ornament

I decided to change it up a little and show you another craft I am working on.. I am making Light Bulb ornaments. They are super easy and there are so many possibilities to create with them. You just use a regular light bulb.. prime it .. and paint it to your liking and then you add a cute little hat (i used fleece) and string and you are done. I have made quite a few now and everyone loves them! :)
Enjoy!

A Little Military Tribute

This is the front of the card

this is the inside of the card

I know many people who have served in the military and I have the upmost respect for them! I wish them nothing but the best and I would like to take this time to thank each and every one of them for their service to our country! With This I have made this card.... This card was made with simple card stock and the Cricut Card Stand and Salute <3

Berry Sweet Popsicle

One of the small cards I made lastnight was a cute little popsicle. Not a big card just a little note card type. But I used the Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge for this project. Enjoy! :)
