Out Like a Lion ..In Like a Lamb Getting Cricky Hop

Hello All!! Its HOP time again over at Getting Cricky!!!!! So glad you could join us!
This birds are chirping again which is a GREAT sound and the weather here has been beautiful the past few days! So I guess for the theme of this hop .. it was a perfect one because Spring is deffinitly peeking out :)

So if you've Hopped over here from Heather you are in the right place! If you have stopped in from blogger please start at Getting Cricky for the full hop :)

Each of Kristal's stamp sets benefit charity. At least $1 per stamp set goes to benefit the charity noted on the stamp set package. Kristal is donating to the following charities: Cancer Angels, Storefront Shelter for Homeless Children, Intrepid & Fallen Heroes, E. Glaser Pediatric AIDS  Foundation, Doorways Shelter for Women & Children (Domestic Violence), Wayside House for Women, Camp Good Days & Special Times, Adopt a Classroom, and Autism Research Institute. Kristal will donate $1 for every stamp set sold, retail or wholesale to the charity noted; and over time believes this will add up to some wonderful miracles for these special people. So you can feel good that each time you purchase a K Andrew Designs art stamp set, someone around the country is receiving some good help!

K Andrew's stamps are all made and assembled here in the USA, which is very important to Kristal. This ensures all product materials are safe and that jobs are being provided and maintained here in America.  You can learn even more about Kristal's stamps (and pick some up for yourself) by visiting her online store: K Andrew Designs:

The theme for this hop was "Out like a Lion...In Like a Lamb" So I chose to do a spring themed project because  I am so ready for spring and all of the beautiful flowers that come with it!

For my project I created a Spring type dry erase board. It was super easy and I cant take credit for it because I saw it on Pinterest and I just had to re-create it with my own twist :)

For this project I used a simple frame that I purchased at walmart,
Then i took out the backing and placed my design paper... I chose to use these colors because
to me they are very springy and feel uplifting..which brought me to use the K Andrews Design set "Positive Thoughts"
Sorry that my "To Do" looks kinda yicky but my marker was not being very cooperative with me..

Here is the preview of the set I used and I must say I know i've been using this one a lot lately but I LOVE how uplifting the sayings are on it :)

To Order this set or to view/order other sets just click the preview above and it will take you directly to her site :) Enjoy!!!!

Now your next stop on the hop is Veronica ! Enjoy because there are a lot of super projects in this hop tonight!!!

Simply Sunday Challenge - Green White and one other color

Hello All! Its time again for another Simply Sunday challenge over at Getting Cricky!
This challenge is another fun one! To enter this challenge you need to use the colors : Green , White and Only one other color!

I know this is a St Patty's Day Challenge but I wanted to add a little spin to the color challenge :)

So here is the project I came up with :)

So the colors I used are Green White and Blues.
I covered chipboard in blue green and white striped paper and used my Cinch to bind the pages together.
The inside is blank pages so that I can add pictures or write something for my nephew.
The cut is from Nate's ABC's I loved the look of the silhouette boy with the jar of bugs. For the "bugs" i used some green bling. I wanted them to sorta symbolize lightning bugs :)
I added the sentiment to the clouds.
The sentiment is from the K Andrew Design Set " Positive Thoughts"
For a preview of this set and/or to get your own set click on the preview to go to Kristal's Store :)

Please dont forget to stop over at Getting Cricky and check out what the Design team has to show !!

Mickey Mouse March Madness Challenge

I decided to enter a challenge over at Crafty Chics Website! Its Micky Mouse March madness :)

For this challenge one of the design team girls is going to Disney world so Shawn over at Crafty Chics created a challenge so that everyone could create a page for each Disney Character to sign when she visits :)
What a neat challenge huh?! I thought to too so I had to enter! I created a Tinker Bell signature page.

This one is pretty Self explanitory but I used plain papers and some glittery papers to create this project. Her wings are actually made of a pearly metallic paper that makes them sorta glimmer :)
For the sentiment I used K Andrew Design set "Positive Thoughts"

Happy Wishes!

Happy Saturday all! Its been a while since I posted and I wanted to share a card with you that I have created for a challenge at over at Simply Crafts
The challenge over there is: you are to make a project, any kind of project, using the kite cut from the Create a Critter cartridge (it is on the same key as the giraffe cut).  If you don't have that cartridge any kite cut will do
I am also entering this into the Peachy Keen challenge - Anything goes!!

For this I used A simple white cardstock;
Then I embossed a plain piece of blue cardstock white the dot pattern.
The Kite and Monkey are all cut from Create a Critter cartridge.
The Sentiments came from the K Andrew Design Sets "Winter Wishes and Owly Who Sentiments"
The monkey face is from Peachy Keen stamps! :)
