Final PBD Challenge - Use Junk

So the final project for PBD is to use junk from a junk drawer so here is my project :)

So for this project they provided a sketch which made it super easy!

So the junk i used was pieces of scraps from makeup sponges, a toothpick and a cupcake liner that I never use.. I turned the cupcake liner into a flower.. the toothpick is the stem and the sponges are just little decorative stars :)

<3!!

Project #12 - Inspiration

For this challenge you were to find something that inspired a project...
Now this wasnt from my home.. Although I have plenty of them in my home but none that are filled so nicely with these yummy veggies lol So My inspiration came from the basket itself... Check out what I created as an inspiration...

I got a tutorial from a very good crafter who gave awesome instructions on these and I have been hooked on making them ever since! I hope you like my mini basket :)
The tutorial  page is : Little Blue Room

<3 Enjoy!! This has been a blast!!!

PBD Challenge #11 - One Layer

Challenge # 11 over at PBD was to create a one layer card: Here is what I came up with :)

For this I used a simple piece of Cream card stock.. Then I stamped it with the tree branch stamp i picked up at Ac Moore and it came with a cute saying so it says : Keep a green tree in your heart and perhaps a singing bird will come - Chinese proverb

I love it :)

<3 Until Next time!!

PBD Challenge #10 GO WILD

For challenge #10 you were to create a project either using an animal or animal print .. heres what I came up with:

So for this card I used a baby piglet image from the Pooh cart.
I used zebra paper from that paper studio collection
Some pink zebra buttons from the paper studio and
Recollections flowers..

<3 Until Next time!!

PBD Challenge #9 Buttons

So For the 9th Challenge it was to create a project with buttons... Here's what I came up with for this one..
Again I dont have any PBD Stamps yet but I will soon!! :)

I made this one super simple. I used a purple glitter background with a white overlay.
I stamped a pair of cups and added some cute little buttons to the holders :)
Then I used a sentiment from K Andrew Designs

<3 until #10 Loving this challenge day!!!

PBD Challenge #8 Ribbons and Bows

So for the pink by design challenge #8 you are to showcase ribbons and bows so heres my take on that :)

So for this challenge I went through my scrap papers again and found some cute boy themed paper and then with the cartridge A Childs Year I cut out some stars at different sizes ranging from 3"-1"
I added some gems to the center of the stars to dress them up a little bit then I used some ribbon from 3Girl Jam. I distressed the edges of the papers to make them a little aged looking and I hand wrote the sentiment.

<3 #9 is on its way!!

PBD Challenge #7 Tag Your It

So for this challenge I made a rose from the Giant Flowers cartridge and created a tag for because it will be added to a gift bag.

So for this challenge I made a rose from the Giant Flowers Cartridge (i'm really loving this cart!!!)
Then I made a tag and stamped it with From the Heart..
I am going to be adding this to my future SIL's gift bag when she moves into her new house :)

<3 Enjoy!! See you at challenge #8!!!

PBD Challenge #6 Sketch

Hello all! Back for round #6 of Pink By Designs challenges!! So excited. For this one it was a sketch challenge which I must say I really really liked it because I kinda had to think outside my own little box :)

Here it is:

For this I used pictures of my little brother and his wife.
I used my spellbinders to cut the tag out ... I also used some black pearls on the sides.
All of the paper I used is from my scrap stash except for the background piece.

<3 Until #7 :)

PBD #5 -Ombre

So for PBD Challenge #5 You are to create a project that has color tones that go from Light to dark or dark to light so I decided to do a layout that I will use later in my scrapbook so it doesnt have a title on it because i dont know what pictures I will put on it or if i will give it to my SIL to use for one of her pages.

So the colors I chose are more of the teal /blue green colors because I had some 6x6 sheets that i wanted to use as my mats :) I know its super simple but I cant title it without knowing what pictures I want to use in it yet.... Soo... This is all I have for now LOL. I used teal ribbon that I got from M's, then I cut plain cardstock into 3"x12" pieces and 2"x12" pieces to create my cascade look.. Then I added My mats and added some teal flowers that go from light to dark  as an extra added cascade touch :) So this is my take on the OMBRE challenge :)

Enjoy!! <3 Until #6

PBD #4 - Silhouette

So for PBD Challenge #4 you are to create a project using a Silhouette. So I chose to do another little Halloween card :) Its just a simple card with a dab of color Hope you like it!!

So for this I used the Cartridge A Childs Year to cut this cute little girl dressed up as a witch.
Then I used a Premade black card base and added paper from the Paper Studio Jeepers Creepers
I added ribbon from 3 Girl Jam and Inside I wrote a sentiment that says "Happy Halloween Little Miss" inside. I will probably give this to my little niece :)

<3 Until #5!!! :)

PBD Challenge #3 - Embossing

For challenge #3 over at Pink By Design the theme is embossing dry or wet. So I created a little kitchen themed card. I recently won a set of stamps from Pink By Design called Whats Shakin ? and I am so excited to get them I wanted to create a card for this challenge that shows how excited I am to use them when they get here :))))

Heres my card:

So for this card I used a plain blue card from the Paper Studio,
Then I embossed a piece of cream colored card stock using my cuttlebug and the swirls folder
Then I used black embossing powder on top of that.
The ribbon is from Paper Studio
The oven mit was cut from From My Kitchen  And the paper on the mit was from DCWV Kitchen Stack

<3 Until next project!!!! Keep It Crafty!

PBD Challenge #2 - Favorite Holiday

Hi! I'm back with my second project for the Pink By Design Challenge day #2  This challenge is for your favorite holiday sooo I chose to do Halloween.. I like Halloween because it is the day my adorable Pitty was born and I also love seeing my niece and nephew dress up and have fun doing all the things they get to go to :)

So here is my card:

So for this card I used:
I cut the ghost from the Mini Monsters cartridge.
The face came from Peachy Keen stamps
The ribbon for her bow came from 3 Girl Jam
The sentiment came from K Andrew Designs
The paper is from The paper studio  Jeepers Creepers
and I used Some black ink to distress the edges of the sentiment piece.

I am also entering this into the Peachy Keen Challenge: Anything Goes (must use PK Stamps)

<3 Keep On Crafting!!

PBD Challenge #1

Good Morning all!! Hope you have all had a great week! Today is a fun day over at Pink By Design! They are having their 2nd Anniversary Challenge day followed by a UStream with tons of prizes up for grabs! So they are doing a project every hour with a prize of a free stamp set if you complete all of them all day long! So i'm going to attempt to do each project today!! I dont have any of their stamp sets yet but I do have some on their way so unfortunately none of my projects today will show off their cute stamp sets but soon enough I will make projects with them :)

So for the first challenge it was to make a Home Decor project so here is what I created:

So for this I used a glass block that I got from AC Moore a while ago..
Then I used black vinyl and cut out a pattern from The Ornamental Iron Cartridge and I applied it there..
I used a glass cutting drill bit to drill a hole in the back so the light cord could go out the back and look a little bit neater when displayed. I also used a 20ct colored light set that I had on hand .. I may change it later to make it a little bit for full of lights... Then I had a flower bunch on hand that I used for the top arrangement .. I will probably add more flowers later on to make it a bigger arrangement (but since I dont have time to get to the store and back in the time limit... I had to use this :) )

I will be giving this to my future SIL because she just bought her first house and is so excited about decorating :)

<3 Until Next hour!!

Sweet Dipped Birthday!

Happy Sunday All!!! It has been a great week here! I got to harvest my first batch of Green Beans from my garden and yesterday one of my chickens laid her first egg! So I rewarded them today with a bunch of fresh fruit since its muggy outside and it will help keep them hydrated :) !! Hope Everyone has had a great week also!!

So the other day I was in a crafty mood and wanted to make a few cute shaped birthday cards.. So I made 2 almost exactly alike but The first one turned out so nice I couldnt help but do a second one :)

I am entering these cards in the following challenges:
Little Scrap Pieces : Fun Friday Challenge Anything Goes
Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog: Challenge Me Monday #119 -Yummy Yummy!
Celebrate The Occasion: Challenge #70 : Happy Birthday
Cooking with Cricut : #94 I Feel The Love Challenge
The Cricut Chirp Challenge - 2 - Too Sweet To Eat
3 Girl Jam: Bow Link Up Party

So these were so simple but I just LOVE how they turned out!!
So I started out with the Sweet Shop Cartridge on my Gypsy and welded 2 of the strawberries together , I cut that piece out on white cardstock so that the inside would be white. Then I cut another Strawberry in Red textured paper and then the leaves in a very light green textured paper. For the dip I used a light tan piece of cardstock and used Tim Holtz Ink Vintage Photo around the edges to give it a little depth.
I also embossed the strawberry with the cuttlebug dots folder and ran some black ink over it to make it look like the little black spots on a real strawberry :)
The bows are made with Crinkle Ribbon from 3 Girl Jam
The Sentiments are from K Andrew Designs

I better get it done while I can because I'll be going back to school in September to get my CNA license... New step in a new direction and Maybe with that I will have another crafting outlet because I will make cards for the people I help take care of :)

I cut the popcicle from the Sweet Shop cartridge at 2.25
I used Pebbles Cream Chalks Metallic Shades to give the popcicle a little dimension.
The faces on the popcicle are from Peachy Keen Every Day Faces set
I used Doodle Twine on the sticks
And the sentiments came from K Andrew Designs "Even More Food For Thought"
