Silhouettes

Hello all! Happy almost over Monday! I had time to craft today and I really dug into it got 3 projects done and I still have energy for some more! But I wanted to post and show you one of the projects that I am working on because I wanted to make something for my Brother and SIL to help decorate their house.

My niece and nephew are my favorite people in the whole world and I cant help but make things that are about and for them :) These were just cut out of black cardstock and I used MOD PODGE to keep them on the canvas. They aren't as perfect as I would have liked but they turned out pretty good . Will try again making some for my Mom since she liked them so much :)

Frosty

Hi everyone! Its so cold here! The temps yesterday and today have been around 8 degrees and I absolutely hate it! But one good thing is that the cold has inspired me to create a card. I love the snow but the bitter cold is not good for anyone or anything...except maybe us in the crafty world who stay warm and cozy and craft away :)

So for my card I used my Cameo to cut the card and all of its shapes.

Sorry for the glare but I couldn't seem to get the lighting right because of the metallic paper and the glitter on the snowflake...
But this card was cut using a file from the Silhouette store. Its a tri fold that comes with a band to keep it closed. I wanted to keep it simple but keeping with the snowflakes on the paper I added a glittery snowflake to the band.
I used K Andrew Stamps for the Sentiment and I used Staz-On ink since the paper is kinda glossy.

I am entering this into the following challenges:

Stay warm and Until Next time! <3

Anything Goes over at Simply Create Too!

Its challenge time again over at Simply Create Too! And The DT Members all have something different and awesome to show you! Stop on over and check out what they have created and link up your own project to show too! :)

For my project I used my cricut and my gypsy to cut and weld a shaped card. I wanted to go for something a little out of the ordinary so here goes:

I i just used basic card stock for the base and the top sentiment piece is just a piece of scrap paper that I had in my bin.
I added some homemade skittles to the card and then I stamped it with my K Andrew Design stamps.

White as Snow Blog Hop

Welcome to the White as Snow Blog Hop where the idea was to either create something that has white as a primary color or as the background. I'm sure some of these crafty bloggers got creative and combined both but you will only be able to find out by hopping along with us today...

Our hostess for this hop is Jearise from Lorby's World (link to - http://lorbysworld.blogspot.com) and it's a good thing to start at her blog because she has a special give away of her own and all the details are on her blog.

We also have a guest blogger, Anita from Anita and Bugs, who also has an awesome give away on her blog.

Our wonderful sponsor for today's blog hop is THE CUTTING CAFE (link to - http://thecuttingcafe.typepad.com/the_cutting_cafe/) so please make sure you visit their online store to see all the wonderful cutting and printable files they have.

The Cutting Cafe is giving away to one lucky winner 3 files of their choice. To qualify, you need to visit The Cutting Cafe store (link to - http://thecuttingcafe.typepad.com/the_cutting_cafe/) and then "like" The Cutting Cafe on FACEBOOK (link to - https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Cutting-Cafe/162767407068793?ref=ts&fref=ts) and let Regina, the owner, know that you came from the White as Snow Blog. I can tell you now that if you like printable sayings and cutting files, you will love her designs and she has specials going on all the time on her FACEBOOK page.

Now on to the hop...

For this I wanted to go a little simple. I used a plain white background its a square card...
Then I placed the snowflake brads on (removed the brad posts)
Then I added some Liquid Pearl in 2 colors (blue and teal)
The Sentiment Came from K Andrew Designs

Thank you so much for joining us today and your next stop is (insert person under you on line up).

Let It Snow

Hello all! Its time again for Challenges at Simply Create Too! For Challenge 28 the theme is Let it snow!

So for my project I wanted to show you what I made a TON of this season :)

Sorry about the mess in the background. I did some tweaking to these after I took the pictures. I have actually put a yarn scarf around the stem instead of the foil ribbon. I had so much fun making these and they can stay out until winter is over :)

Stop over and join in the fun over at simplycreatetoo.blogspot.com
