In Honor Of Memorial Day

Happy Saturday All !!! It was a soggy day here.. Lots of rain and thunderstorms so I had plenty of time to craft. Since Monday is Memorial Day I made a card that I would like to dedicate to each and every service member past and present.

Recipe:
Plain white cardstock..distressed with Fired Brick Tim Holtz Ink
The rosette was made using the Ribbons and Rosettes cartridge along with the star in the center.
I added some bling to the stars around the edges to make them sparkly (sorry i know they are hard to see)
The sentiment came from K Andrew Design Set "Freedom Isnt Free"
I also used the same set to stamp the star.

The challenges I am entering this card into:

Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturdays - Stars and Stripes
Little Scrap Pieces - Use Red
More Than Favors - Wacky Wednesdays #71 Memorial Day
Craft Your Days Away Challenges: Challenge #46 - Red White and Blue
Paper Pretties Wednesday Challenge PWC207 - Bright and Bold Colors
Papertake Weekly Challenge: True Colours

Thanks for stopping by!! Have a happy and safe Memorial Day!

<3 Until Next time!
