Hello! Its 1 am here and yes I am still up crafting LOL!! I cant help it though when you get in the mood to craft that's just what you have to do :)

For this card I created it to enter it into:

The card stock I used is from the paper collection: "Just the Girls" from My Minds Eye

I cut the snowflakes out with my Martha Stewart punch using glittery card stock

The snowflake "flower" is from The Paper Studio..

The Ribbon is from my collection of extra ribbons..

The Cut is from "Give a Hoot" cut at 2.25"

The Sentiment is from K Andrew Designs

Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge - Fantasy Land

Its time for another Simply Sunday Challenge over at Getting Cricky
The Theme is "Fantasy Land"

So with that said I have created a project with a little fantasy items going on :)
My project for this week is a Unicorn Card that I cut from the "Once Upon a Princess" cartridge.
This cartridge is so cute and has a lot of fun fantasy cuts but I chose the Unicorn ..so here goes :)

For this card I used the K Andrews Stamp set "Winged Things" 

I love how the font in this set is very fantasy like! I just used a simple pink cardstock at 5x7

Then used a swirly embossing folder from The Paper Studio

The flower is also from The Paper Studio

(i was on a kick when I was at Hobby Lobby  because all of their Paper Studio stock was 40% off!!!)

Then I used some bakers twin in green and blue to keep with the fun colors and 

The paper i used for the Unicorn and the sentiment background is "Party Time" from My  Minds Eye

Birthday Card

I created this birthday card for the Celebrate the Occasion -Challenge #47: Masculine Birthday


So for this card I created a card that would suit the occasion :)

For this card I used K & Co paper, the football was cut from the "Wrap it up" Cartridge, I just used a little distressing ink on it to give it a little depth.  This is a gate fold card so i used brads to hold the football in place so that the card would stay semi closed.  The sentiment comes from K Andrew Design stamp set " Splashtastic Summer"

Baby Card

Hello All! Happy Sunday!

Since its cold here today and we are hearing that there is some icy weather coming I figured today would be the perfect day to blog it up for a little bit! :)

For this card I want to show you a card that I made that I am going to be entering into the Peachy Keen Stamp Challenge : Create a project with a pocket! 

So Really this is a perfect challenge since I have been on this kick of making these super fun and cute pocket cards :)

For my project for the Hop I am switching it up a little bit and I am going to do a project with a few different sets and a few different projects....

For the first project I am going to show you a card I made with the Owly Who Sentiments and Hoot Owl Image set: and Hooty Owl Accessories Images

I loved making this card! piecing all the papers together made it fun!!!

For my next project I just took a clear votive holder and stained it red and put a white ribbon around it and stamped a pair of lips on it from K Andrews set: "Its Valentines!"

This is super simple to do... You just take Mod Podge and mix it in a small cup with the color of food coloring you want your glass to be tinted... then you brush it onto the glass and let it dry... I use a few coats to make it darker ... As it dries you will see the tint... 

For My Next Project I created a Card using the "Food For Thought" Stamp set.

For this card I used a simple pink card stock and stamped the background with the Stamp Set "Food For Thought" with the word YUM because the cupcake image that I used looked yummy! 

Then I punched holes in the top and tied it with a ribbon so that it would stay closed :) 

For my Last Card I did a pop out card .. I know its hard to tell but it actually has 3 layers...

For this I used simple colors for the card stock and glitter to make it pop.

For this card I used the stamp sets Fall-O-Ween and Splashtastic Summer

Hello All!
We are on day 4 of the Pre Hop and I'm excited for the Hop!!

The project for today was inspired by my friends little girl who has Cystic Fybrosis. She has amazing courage and determination so this card is for her :)

The Image is from Scraps of Heaven, The paper is just glitter paper that I got from Michaels,

Then I just put some yarn and made a pom pom out of it and placed it on the top! :)

For this project I used a simple red cardstock for the card, then cut

some white squared and placed them on the top. I got these cute 3d stickers at Michaels and wanted to do almost like a collage of cuteness so i put one in each square... Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge!!!

Yes its that time again!! Simply Sunday Challenge-Let it Snow / Use Embossing .
I Am also entering this into Jelly Park Challenges - Anything with a pocket 

For this project I got the card idea from Split Coast Stampers which I really enjoy making these cards now! Thanks to whomever came up with that one! :)
Anyways So for the paper I used a piece of BoBunny double sided paper which I fell in love with when I went to this small scrapbook store here <3
Then I Embossed what I like to think is my snowmans snowflack backing.. I embossed it with the swirly pattern, then also heat embossed it with the glittery silver.. Then I put this cute little snowman on top of it.. wrapped some ribbon around the card...
For the Tag insert I just cut a simple shape out and Stamped it with the sentiments from K Andrew Designs stamp set "Winter Wishes"

Pre-Hop Day 1!!!

Well Good Morning Everyone!! I hope your weekend is going great!!
As you may or may not know ... Over at Getting Cricky this week there is a TON of stuff going on!! :) Today you at Noon EST you will see our Simply Sunday Challenge project going on... This morning you will see that the DT Team is starting our week of previews for Kristal's Stamps all leading up to our Blog Hop on Friday!!!! So this week is going to be jam packed full of goodness!!! And be sure to check back here every day this week because I will be giving some blog candy away on one of the preview days but you wont know which day it is until you check back here :)

So for my Day One Pre Hop project :
I will be featuring K Andrew's Stamp set "Food For Thought" this week

For this project I used a simple glittery piece for my bg,

Then I did the mosiac tile from a piece of cupcake paper from DCWV

For that all you do is take and rip your paper into pieces and use your distress ink along the tears and use Mod Podge to layer it until you have your mosiac.

Then I used a Recollections flower and heart brad and tied a ribbon a round the mosiac :)

For the sentiment I used Food For Thought from K Andrew Designs.

These stamps are so versatile that you can get a whole lot of sayings from just one set of her stamps.
