Valentine Treat Box Blog Hop

Valentine's Day is just two weeks away and we wanted to see what kinds of mailboxes, boxes, and bags you make to give those special people in your lives. Join us for some amazing Valentine's inspiration in plenty of time for that special day and those special treats.

This hop has two hostesses today: Jearise from Lorby's World (http://lorbysworld.blogspot.com) and Tee (http://tee-myspot.blogspot.com/). Make sure you visit their blogs because they have some special treats of their own to give away. They'll tell you more on their blogs.

Now on with the inspiration...

I have 2 projects to show you today. So here goes :)

For this project I wanted to make a reusable treat container that would be good for my Nephew who is 1 and my Niece who is 2. So i found these cute plastic containers at Michaels and I knew they would be perfect for them because they are the perfect size for their little hands and they aren't really breakable.
I cut their first letters of their first names out on my Cameo with vinyl and placed it one each container. Then I used a scrap heart from all of the Valentine's day cards I have been making and made them into tags and I hand wrote little messages on each of them for them :) And I think I will be switching out their candy to something other than hard candy but its all I had to put in it at this point so I could show you :)  (I Know they arent boxes but I couldn't resist them for my two little sweeties)

For this one I cut it with my Cameo from a cut file from Creative Kuts. I absolutely love this file! Its fun and so easy to put together. Its a cute lollipop holder :)
I cut it with some of my white feather paper and then I used some ribbons from my stash and I just had to add the feathers to it to make it fun!

Thanks for stopping by and please continue on to Sandra. I'm sure she has something wonderful to show you!!

Final Line Up Will Be Posted on January 31st. Tee is asking that you include your DEEP URL if you know how. Thanks.  (You don't have to include the whole thing if you don't want.)

  4. I love both your projects. The first may not be a box but it still counts in my book. You an have so much fun doing stuff like that and one thing works for all the holidays. I do something similar with a glass cookie jar. The second project, well, I can only say LOVE THE FEATHERS! You don't see feathers on projects very much. Thanks for sharing and Hugs.
